Service Philosophy
The
Therapists at Independent Living Ltd believe in the value of
people and the need for all individuals including those with
injury related or medical conditions to participate fully
within the community we live in. We are committed to providing the services that
facilitate for inclusion and participation while supporting
lifestyle choices and individual aspirations.
We seek to actively remove barriers to achieving this and
work to create a synergy between the individual, the
environment they live in and any impairment they may be
dealing with. We accept that individuals are just that and
our service is based on our client and their needs.
Therefore we are committed to developing programmes that
facilitate for the assessment and rehabilitation of
individuals with injury related or medical conditions,
remaining sensitive at all times to cultural, emotional or
physical needs.
We are committed to ensuring that all clients; achieve and
or maintain their optimum level of independence in all areas
of their daily living.
